Welcome to Kim's Jump Page! Sky Diving for Cause Some people jump out of planes because they are daredevils and enjoy the thrill. Others push their limits to help others. And some do things for reasons close to the heart. This Memorial Day weekend, I’m going to sky dive for a cause I care deeply about, and in doing so, will be pushed outside my comfort zone. After all, it’s the least I can do to honor all who have been pushed outside their comfort zone by cancer, forcing them to fight the fight, everyday. To me, the best way I can give back is to give of myself. I am a proud member of the board of directors for Strength for Life, a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting men and women, who are living with cancer, reclaim their lives by providing a safe and effective exercise program free of charge. On a personal note, I am also currently standing with, beside – and sometimes behind – a loved one who is fighting the fight. I have had several aunts and uncles fall victim to this illness, but this particular fight surrounds a woman with immeasurable strength and determination along with a compassion for others who are fighting the same fight. This Memorial Day weekend, I jump in honor of Kerri White.
